The mission of Little Falls School No 2 is to provide a child centered curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment which empowers students to become active lifelong learners. As our students take giant steps toward the future, they will learn a sense of community and public responsibility through classroom culture that develops collaborative and interpersonal skills based on mutual respect and cooperation. Some September Reminders...
School Bus: Be sure to take your child to the bus stop so that he/she will know where he/she will be waiting and dropped off each day. Take some time to practice safe bus riding routines. Please abide by the suggestion to arrive at your stop 10 minutes prior to the noted time. Know that during the first few days school bus arrival times may be delayed as students, families and the bus drivers get used to the routes. We appreciate your patience. If you have questions about your bus route or bus stop, please contact Ms. Wright at 973-256-1386 Ext: 2200.
Full Day Preschool runs from 8:30-2:30!
AM Preschool runs from 8:30-11:00!
PM Preschool runs from 12:00-2:30!
School begins promptly at 9:00 for Grades K-2: School is the students’ job. It is important that the children are on time each day and ready to learn. All students are welcome to enter the building at 8:50. Children will be welcomed from 8:50-9:00 by the Cafeteria entry door facing the parking lot. The students do not line up outside. Families are not permitted in the building at this time. After 9:00 you will need to bring your child to the front door and sign your child in at the main office.
NO Parking!: A reminder that there is NO parking in our parking lot. Kindly make use of the path leading up to the school from Morningside Circle.
Dismissal time is 3:20: That is the time children are leaving the building. Families who are coming to school to pick up children should wait in the play yard for the students to be dismissed. On a typical day the school buses are departing by 3:30. During the first week buses will most likely be departing by 3:40. Again we appreciate your patience and understanding.
